Here is a very special treat for all you electronic music fantasts out there.

NEMCOM (Norrköping Electronic Music Community) has hosted two events, where two very special live recordings were made by Joakim Hedström, in September 2009 and November 2011. Both means members of the community “occupies” a venue, and only play music from one group/artist all night. Nerdery at First Degree .

The first event featured is the annual “Kräftwerk” (where Kräfta is Crayfish, and the season for eating crayfish in Sweden is in August/September). The second event is DM Bar (Depeche Mode Bar).

The mixes was not even thought of to match a Pomodoro Work-a-Music Session of natural reasons, but by serendipity the two mixes almost matches the intended 25 minutes (almost 24 minutes for the Kraftwerk Mashup, and just a little more than 24 minutes for the Depeche Mode Mashup).

The mixes are very unique – they use, reuse and recycle sounds, samples, clips, vocals and passages from a massive two-figure number of tunes from respective artist/group, and make a full new set of own compositions in their own independent standing.

Beyond the first four of the formally produced Pomodoro Mixes, this list now represents the core idea of Pomodoro Mix – to soundtrack a full so-called “Pomodoro Set”. A Pomodoro Set is a set of usually four, sometimes three, “Pomodori” (Italian plural) – or Pomodoro / Work Sessions 25 minutes each, with 5 minute breaks. After a full Pomodoro Set, it is adviced with a longer pause, say 15, 30 – or maybe 60 or 90 if it’s lunch, beyond a morning/pre-noon of work, with maybe two Pomodoro Sets of 1,5 or 2 hours each ?

Anyways, you get it, right?

This is to get you through one kind of Pomodoro Set! With different moods of different parts of the set.

In short, increasing energies and beats coming with the set of four (more on this to emerge on the fixed pages for reference).

A Pomodoro Set is three to four 25 minute periods with five minute breaks in between, and after that you take a longer break with fifteen to thirty minutes. Thus an appropriate set of mixes is four.

Here is the last mix to play with in the first four mixes now published.

The third mix contains a meditative beat in a deep flow.
